The thunder caused Serge to jump and shake. Too loud. His ears were ringing, before he covered his ears with his hands. He looked over to see Jon shouting in his direction. He couldn't see his sister with this crowd in the way. So he did his best pushing through, though the crowd was pushing him in the direction of the gate instead. Help... No. I won't stay here.
Serge keeping his ears covered, ran in the direction of where he thought he last saw Jon and the other girl. He could head in with them.
At the sight of rain and thunder, Serena's instincts to remain beautiful and untouched at all times were set aside. Her brother hated anything loud to the point of being a statue. Ordinarily she'd see him with his friend and trust they would guide him but there was no sign of them with Serge. Oh wait, there he was running with the others. "Excuse me, my younger brother I have to check on him." She acknowledged the girl nearby and.. oh what the heck. Here, have a free umbrella. She'll fix herself later.
"Serge!" Serena tripped onto the ground. Sigh. She refused to go barefoot and have more dirt on her toes. But now her robes would need to be charmed and pressed clean. This is horrible! Serena thought, as she pushed her wet hair back.
"When RAINDROPS fell..... down from the skyyy.." Serena sang as she placed her heels back on and attempted to stand and follow the others.
This was strange.. the area was usually charmed to disguise any sign of weather. Yet the gate didn't open early enough. Emidio's arms were crossed as he frowned, not wincing at the raindrops pouring on his head. He dealt with far worse weather on the pitch in his Quidditch playing days. Imagine flying on a tree with thunder occasionally striking the branches and you couldn't use a wand to extinguish it.
Finally, the gates were geared to open.
"Everybody, inside quickly!" Looking in the direction of somebody singing, "Miss Eris-Foster, on your feet and stop singing! Everyone will be accounted for before the gates close." No need for any students risking illness on his watch. |
