For the millionth time, he was left again with the burning desire to find gillyweed (the plant, not his sister) or perfect the bubblehead charm or something so they could explore more fully the depths of the lake at Hogwarts. He wondered if anyone had every really devoted a huge amount of time to doing so. Would Hogwarts allow him to stay past graduation just so he could map and explore the watery depths and all the flora and fauna within? That was certainly a job that he could get behind, even if he didn't love being in the water as much as being underneath the sunlight.
WAS knowledge power? "Isn't that only applicable when you're using knowledge against people?" He asked in response, teasing her a little in his tone. She brought up an excellent point about the merpeople... and he considered it for a moment, before conceding she was absolutely correct. "I'm pretty sure we actually almost had war with them just a few years ago because they thought we did that, didn't we?" He thought he remembered the ministry having had some individuals even kidnapped in exchange for whatever it was believed that wizardingkind had stolen from them... The more he considered it, the more taking anything away from the watery depths seemed a very, very bad idea. "This is one instance where can I agree learning might actually be kind of fun." He agreed instead on the latter idea, the far safer.
"Magic also doesn't have any errors outside of the castors error, right? It kind of sounds like this AI thing can just... fail on it's own." Although, if the AI thing had to be created BY someone then did that mean it was still technically a user error? He didn't know and he was probably overthinking it now. But he DID definitely want to try it for himself one day.
