Normandie didn’t consider herself a fashionista by any stretch of the imagination. She’d always been kind of a tomboy, more interested in things like quodpot and dueling than clothes. As such, she was surprised when the other young woman complimented her outfit. Or at least she thought it was a compliment. She couldn’t be sure, as the words sort of trailed off mid-sentence.

Wondering how that sentence was meant to end, she met the other woman’s stare with a curious glance of her own. “Thanks… I think,” she replied. “It looks better on you. Though. I’m not sure this color works with my hair.” Red hair was the worst sometimes, so hard to match with outfits!

Realizing she hadn’t yet introduced herself, she extended a hand to the other woman. “I’m Normandie, by the way. Normandie Carton.”
