But nothing that seemed worth bothering any of the current shop owners to add to their list and found pile.
Well, not until she saw a shiny silver bracelet sitting on the ground. The rising fifth year made her way towards the piece on the ground, noticing a set of shoes close by it. Squatting down, the brunette picked up the piece - a lovely little thing with some astronomical charms on it - before righting herself and looking towards the wearer of the shoes. Another student it seemed, perhaps close ish to Vera's own age. "Is this yours?" She asked, holding out the piece whilst hoping for a negative answer. Rowan squinted down the narrow street at the crowds and wondered why she hadn't come here before the Hogwarts Summer holidays to get this out of the way, without the need to partake in that ye olde British tradition of queuing.
Oh yeah, that was right. She'd spent the day she was supposed to be here doing something she wasn't supposed to be doing..
She spotted the sign for Potage's Cauldron Shop swaying gently in the light summer breeze and decided to head there first. That way, she could use the cauldron as a convenient shopping basket for the rest of her supplies. Just about to start off towards it, her eyes settled on a girl who was looking at her, holding out a silver trinket of some sort. She looked at the bracelet and then back at the girl. “Oh.. No. It's not mine.” She replied, giving the girl a brief, tight smile. She looked around to see if she could see anyone who looked like they might be searching for it. No one? “Perhaps you should leave it at the Leaky Cauldron, should anyone be looking for it.” She looked at the bracelet again, at the astronomical charms. “It's pretty. It looks like it might be important to someone.”
