With his mind wondering what today’s lesson would be all about, given the fruits and food, he got himself a seat.

Uh huh.

The guy was hungry now {even if he had eaten not too long ago}. Thanks, professor.
"Hello Master Bergstrand," E greeted back with a friendly smile, "If you'd like, you can take one," Got to save enough for the others.

"Hi there professor," he greeted, "Are we learning about metaphors today? As in... we might all be sorted into two different houses, but in the end, we're all fruit." Was that corny? Perhaps.
"Hello Master Walles," He did a single blink at the description. Huh. Not a bad idea, "Hm, interesting concept, though not today," Hopefully that wasn't a disappointing response.

Seeing all the bowls of food made her think of home, in a nice way, and she continued on to her seat humming to herself.
"Why thank you, Miss Archard," Though he certainly didn't deserve all the credit, "You may take a piece if you wish,"

Making a beeline for the still vacant seat left near Dennis and Charlie he really hoped that they were going to be working in groups of three so that the golden trio for once could work together in a class. "Hi Den! Hi Char!" Will greeted his buddies with wide smiles as he got his stuff sorted on the desk.
"Hello Master Whitelaw, you certainly can take a piece,"

He arrived at the classroom, offering a quick nod to the Professor first before glancing down at the fruit bowl. He wasn’t particularly in the mood for fruit right now and he didn’t have the inclination to ask what it was all about so off he went to find a seat. He spotted Will on a two person desk all alone so headed in that direction first. The two had seemed to bond over their mutual dislike of being the older brother and therefore responsible of their sisters actions even when they clearly weren’t. “Mind if I sit here?” he asked. He was talking to Charlie and another guy he hadn’t been acquainted to yet but he assumed they’d be working in pairs and therefore Will may have been stuck as the awkward third wheel in that situation.
The nod was returned with one of his own. Feirgrund didn't mind the quiet ones.

It was not exactly her best subject, but Anna kind of adored the subject anyway and that had all to do with Professor Feirgrund himself. Sometimes referring to him in her head as Professor Ameliorating Teddy Bear, Anna enjoyed Muggle Studies lessons and discovering new pieces to her life's puzzle and being really hands on with things without the distraction of magic. Magic was great, fantastic, and super important...but there was also something really nice and satisfactory about learning how to be independent from it too.

Skipping into the room as she always did, the third year's eyes widened and she literally dropped her school bag to the floor when she saw the wide array of fruits and delectable smells. "SMOOTHIES!?" she exclaimed as she bounced on her toes a bit and some of the stray buttons she had picked up and collected (things fallen off from people's uniforms and the like) sprung forth from her pockets and tumbled on to the floor. Oops. "Wait...are we going to be fruit ninjas!?"

Her birth dad had been recruited by them, ninjas, once. In case anyone was curious. It was the reason he had needed to leave her and her mum, for their own safety. The ninjas' mission was very dangerous and their lives could have been at risk if he had not left in the middle of the night the way he had. Mmmhmmm.

"Gotta admit though, professor," she continued while crouching down to collect the buttons she has accidentally misplaced. "Smoothies sound really good right now. They maintain body metabolism aaaaaaaaaand I heard they are pretty trendy with muggles sometimes. There are even like...like...little take with you everywhere mashing and mixing machines."

Because she had selectively forgotten the word 'blender' at the moment.

Oh...and hello everyone else! Once Anna had picked up all her buttons and returned her bag to her shoulder she offered everyone a double handed spirited wave.
Speaking of quiet ones, "No Fruit Ninjas today," Feirgrund could only smile as this one also happened to present ideas and facts of their own, "I agree, Miss Walles," It was nice seeing a student excited to attend a lesson.

It was okay, she was a big girl and she wasn't going to sulk if someone was already seated beside him. Much.

It only took a second to spot Charlie and Dennis right beside him. And the two seats beside them were occupied as well. All of the boys got a smile from her as she sat down in the seat in front of Charlie. No worries. Wiggle fingers. Hi, hello.

"Hello, Professor," Keigh greeted softly when she was finally settled into her seat, her attention turning to the front of the room. This was when she now let herself take in all of the fruit and other food that was set out but she wasn't going to question it right now.
"Hello Miss Anders," E greeted back.

Which for the record she was begrudgingly not playing, as she made her way into the muggle studies classroom and glanced around at all the fruits laid out. Seeing that made her perk up a little bit and she glanced over towards Professor Feirgrund. "hello, sir! Are we having a picnic today?" Did he ALSO not want to work on warm days??

Because.. respect.

Seeing Anna ahead of her and a button still uncollected on the ground, Vera leaned down to scoop it up for the Hufflepuff before offering it towards her. "Missed one, Anna Banana!" Not her most original nickname to give, but it was cute and so was Anna and also she could literally see a banana.

Ve then moved further into the room and selected an open seat, not bothering to pull anything from her book bag until she was sure they'd need it. She was reaaaaally hoping for that picnic.
"Good day Miss Thanatos," A picnic? "Not a picnic, but today will be as relaxing as one in the end,"

"Everyone in my family likes smoothies," he told Anna. "Sometimes my sister makes one for me and it's the best but I'm learning to make them myself." While his family wasn't entirely muggle, they had all been raised in the muggle world and he knew about blenders. They always made him nervous because he sometimes worried his hand would get chopped off. But then he remembered that the blenders had a safety switch and also he didn't generally put his hand near sharp things. He felt like he could make a smoothie by himself.
"Hello Master Fox," His politeness was more than appreciated, "You may take some fruit,"

She was all smiles as she entered the classroom, and her expression brightened even more as she noticed the fruits. They looked so good! She wondered if they were allowed to eat them.

“Hi, Professor Feirgrund,” she greeted with her usual smile and princess-like wave. “May I have a strawberry, please?” She wouldn’t be mad if he said no, but it couldn’t hurt to ask, right?

Bright blue eyes scanning the room, Desiree spotted an open seat beside Keighley and beelined in that direction. “Hey,” she greeted her older housemate. Cue the princess-y wave as she sat down…. And another wave for the people sitting nearby (Charlie and Dennis) “What do you think we’ll be doing with those fruits?” She already had a few ideas of her own. Maybe they’d be learning about muggle food prep techniques or nutrition… but that applied to everybody, not just muggles, didn’t it?
"Hello there, Miss Marchand," A strawberry, "Yes, you may have one,"

Alas, he was here, and FRIENDS were already here, TOO. Solly waved to Anna first, then to Brandon and Vera. Did those two count as friends yet? He, if course, wanted to acknowledge those guys before actually taking notice of the fruit in the room. He raised an eyebrow as he tried to think of ways food meant something other than food in the muggle world? Unless they had delicacies much like different cultures across the world did. If so - then he was interested.

He didn’t like fruit, though. Or vegetables.

Solly stood beside Anna, of course. “Hi.” He said. Oh!!!!! “And hi, Professor.” He didn’t always greet the professors before each lesson but felt a little twang of kindness and confidence today.
"Hello, Master Duck," E greeted in return. Whether of kindness or feeling obligated, it was welcomed.

It seemed as though enough time had passed with students coming in and what not. After waiting a few more moments Feirgrund went over to shut the door.

"Good day everyone," Addressing the class until the chatter died down, "As some have guessed we'll be using these fruits to make drinks together, particularly Smoothies," Then addressing the desks, "Before we start making some, can anyone share or provide the type of Smoothies or even drinks that Muggles in addition to us would likely consume?" There were no wrong answers or reactions here.. within reason.

OOC: Welcome, everyone! You can react/answer to either questions depending on character's background. Class has started now so any new posters can post acting as if they were here all along without IC consequences for late arrival. Next post will be around 24 hours from now.
