Brandon, like his older sister, was not very fun to scare. Or at least he didn't find being scared very fun. Hearing a sudden voice behind him made him suddenly jump up in fright and then trip over the tree. And get very pale-looking. And shake a little bit. And hyperventilate. A little. Also, he'd tripped.
"I swear I didn't do anything..." He picked himself off the ground, regarding the older student with wide, scared eyes. "It was like this when I came here! I was just going to read my book!!!" So... so don't get him in trouble. The last thing he wanted was to be in trouble... "I don't know why it's like this," he repeated. Just so he knew. |
