No Aurora absolutely didn’t mind being joined by a cat (and the cats human) as long as she got to pet the kitty. And kitties name was Kanga which reminded her of kangaroos and she’d never seen one of those before but she was sure that if she did she would absolutely love it like she loved all animals.. except squirrels. Squirrels were the enemy. Squirrels and Gnomes. Maybe THAT was why those gnomes targeted her specifically, they were working in conjunction with the squirrels to take Aurora out for no apparent reason. It took her a second to fully digest what her new companion was saying due to her now thinking about a raging war between a petite blonde Ravenclaw and a horde of the entire population of gnomes and squirrels in Scotland.

“Sure! I don’t like the rain much either” she giggled. Plus the dome was plenty big enough to have more than just her in it and it wasn’t like she was concentrating on her homework much anyway. Being able to bring a pet with you to school was the coolest idea ever. Unfortunately her Ma hadn’t let Aurora bring along the family’s Munchkin cat so she had chosen an owl but seeing everyone else’s pets and visiting the school stables were good enough. That and they even got to LEARN about magical animals which was so much better than the tadpoles they had at her Muggle Primary School.

“Hi Kanga” she beamed at the kitty. The other girl got a grin as well of course, Aurora wasn’t rude and she certainly needed to expand her friendship circle.
