Keighley's smile was bright through her laughter so it was obvious that she was only messing about and none of what she was saying was serious. That was how it was between them, they knew how to have the best time together but they also knew when to have each others backs too.

Protectiveness was something Keigh was used to. Not only from Jude but from all of their family. Being the youngest in their immediate family meant that everyone looked out for her and if she was being truthful about it, she didn't mind it at all. If she couldn't trust them all to help her when she needed it, then who could she trust?

Keigh did her best to keep the pillows still while Jude worked his magic on their fort. "Yesssssss! Now.. we eat!" Sorry but this girl was hungry after eyeing up all of those yummy snacks for so long!

“Quite the eggs-quisite idea you have there, Keigh.’’ Jude kept grinning because really, neither of these Anders siblings was annoyed with the other. “But I really dunno what you’re referring to!’’ And that was that. Or was it? Did he ever mention that being silly to outsmart the siblings was one of the things he enjoyed? Because it was. The baby sister had better be okay with being protected the most; she was too precious to let any form of hurt come her way. This extended to Charlie and Olivia too because if either hurt her…

With the fort completed, Jude stuck a sky blue and a navy blue pillow behind his back so he could prop himself up. It was, after all, the perfect position for eating snacks. Another mutter of incantation and the quick corresponding wand movement saw the snacks they had deposited earlier come soaring in a neat line towards them. They plopped themselves down between the siblings. “Dig in!” he encouraged Keigh, he himself reaching for a Pumpkin Pasty.

Mhmm! This was the life!
