"I'll take it over any diabetic coma inducing sugary pop group any day of the year," Joseph mused while cracking a smile as he gave his own earpod a little wiggle to readjust it and encourage it to sit more comfortably in his ear. Though he did not mind the same sort of flavor when it was applied to showtunes, which was a complete mismatch with the current blarings and guitar rifts but to him it was along the same logic as hating tomatoes but liking ketchup. "Wasted Wisdom is actually one of their more...uplifting songs." About as uplifting as flipping over The Tower during a reading. Forewarnings and foreshadowings weren't the most bleak of things.

The Slytherin could feel the sear of a sharp ringing building up in his vacant ear and he was tempted to rip the earpod out of his twin's ear and shove it right back into his own, but desiderium stilled his hand. "What are you studying anyway?"
Slow? Moe doesn't know her.

He laughed when his brother said he'd rather have screamo music blaring in his ears instead of pop music. "Same," he chuckled in agreement. Pop music was...too peppy for his taste. He wasn't a picky man. Good ol' alternative music was just fine for him. He took the earbud out of his ear and passed it back to his brother, unaware of the discomfort being without it was currently causing him. Just like he was unaware of the reason he wore them around the clock to begin with.

"Oh, uh, herbology," he explained, looking down at his book with a frown. Herbology was his least favorite subject, but a necessary evil since it went hand in hand with his FAVORITE subject, potions. "Writing an essay on bouncing bulbs. Terribly dull," he said, wrinkling his nose in disgust as he looked at the book as if it had somehow offended him. "What about you? Are you actually working on anything, or just practicing your drumming?" he asked with a small smile.
