Despite the silence that filled the space, Willow thought nothing of how awkward the situation may or may not have been. She just carried on with rocking back and forth, though she had to admit that it was slightly uncomfortable doing so on brick. But it was nothing that she couldn't handle. If anything, it would make her a stronger person and toughen up her soles.
When one of the boys responded, the smile grew and her little toes wiggled with delight. It always was nice making new friends, whether they were human, a beast, or even a plant. She was always pleased when they talked back to her, responding in their own unique way.
"Pleased to meet you both," she replied dreamily. Her pale eyes momentarily examined Hunter, who seemed to be the talker out of the two, and then over to Zion. Some friendly toe wiggling was directed at him.
Speaking of her being barefoot, Hunter's question made her giggle. "It's no-socks-and-shoes day. It's a special thing that happens at least once a week," Willow informed them as if it were a common fact. In reality, she just didn't feel like wearing anything on her feet. "It's quite freeing really, feeling the world around you beneath your bare feet. You two should give it a try sometime."
