He could certainly agree with people; as much as he didn't want to admit it, Logan was aware that he didn't know everything. However, this wasn't the case with Vera. He made it a point to make sure he was always right, mainly out of stubbornness than anything. Or if she did manage to say something he couldn't disagree with, there were the little jabs to counter that. That was a sign of friendship, right?
The urge to roll his eyes in response to the kinship with the Barnabas tapestry was tempting, though he too refrained. There would be less satisfaction from the fellow Gryffindor that way. "Definitely no kinship there. Just wanting to be familiar with my friend's background." Of course, she was not an actual troll despite the argument that he could make. By default that would mean Vasco was one, which he certainly was not. Perhaps the secret was that she was the one who had actually been adopted.
