Kimothée Chalamet • The UWU Agenda • Once Baby, Now Trouble • All Growed Up The flying part, Yukie found pretty easy. She'd been on a broom before without falling off, so truly that meant she was an ace at this. As for the memorisation, Yukie figured she'd be able to handle that well. Sure, she'd forget the year of a goblin rebellion but she was going to rely on patterns which would be easier for her. But of course, there was the issue of the wiggly eggs on spoons. Maybe Professor Escalante wanted the students to liken them to holding quaffles in an actual game of Quidditch, because that's what Yukie thought they seem to be.
With one of the school brooms in hand, Yukie joined the others in retrieving a spoon and an egg. She eyed egg in her hand, as if mentally sending messages to it so it won't let her down on the way to the other side of the pitch.
The littlest Rasting mounted on the broom and hopped off, so she was hovering above the ground for now. Once she found her balance without holding the broom handle, Yukie held the spoon out and placed her egg on it. She'd stay here for now, to work on balance before she could allow herself to whoosh away.
What if they just cradled the capricious eggs instead? Like babies?
