~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. Jude grinned and waved back at his favourite fashionista - Desiree. He really didn’t have to comment on her outfit, right? She should already know that he loved it! And… wasn’t Maria just chipper? The older Puff lifted a hand in greeting.
Anyway. Yes, he was all prepared and ready for what Escalante had prepped for them today. This is why he paid close attention to the instructions and information being given. Okay, the boards were now facing them and the nests now held eggs. The Hufflepuff did a double take, carefully observing what he was seeing with regard to those patterns. He turned his upper body to take in the empty boards behind the gathering. The instructions were rapidly repeated mentally. Yeah, he thought he had it all down. This was going to be a challenge but it was going to be loads of fun at the same time!
Spoon and broom gathered, Jude selected a board. He spent all of the remaining time squinting at the pattern as though squinting would aid him in properly memorizing the patterns. Then there was the sound of the whistle. He quickly snagged an egg with the green star. Soon enough, the seventh year was on the broomstick with the egg on the spoon and he was off, carefully attempting to balance the egg while heading for the other side of the pitch.
Unfortunately for him, this wasn’t that easy of a feat because already the egg had been dropped once which resulted in him having to start all over again. Now Jude was on his second attempt, trying his best not to have the egg escape again. |
