On the outside, Maesi appears to be an outgoing and fun-loving girl, even if she is nearly always demanding to be the center of attention. Inwardly, she can be quite manipulative, usually not caring much about what people think of her – as long as they are thinking of her – and talks a good game, often saying what she needs to get her way, even if she means most of it and more or less twists the meaning for her intentions. She is rather selfish and self-centered but doesn’t necessarily see herself that way. Maesi is extremely dramatic, sometimes for the attention, sometimes just because she is a ridiculous teenager and enjoys the drama. She still manages to have friends as long as they pay her plenty of attention and don’t happen to be insufferably boring. She is sure she is a star in the making and takes every opportunity she can to make that happen. She took dance lessons for several years before attending Ilvermorny and currently acts in summer stock theater when she is at home.
