No casualties?

Serena resisted a smirk. While her mother had forbidden her to test the catapult on Johnny, it didn’t mean it held Serena back from other experiments. Those, though, would be kept to herself.

After collecting the box and discovering its contents, Serena raised an eyebrow. A pogo stick. Her eyes narrowed at it. Was this thing used by fools in the olden times to please their royals? Nah. If used correctly, it could be a weapon. It all depended on you how a person viewed it.

It wasn’t a weapon.

Serena followed the professor out into the hall, pogo stick in hand. At first it seemed like something easy. She was a quidditch player, her athletic skills were superb. Add in jiu jitsu training, amongst other combat styles, she should be great at this. As she used the wall like the professor had instructed, Serena discovered it wasn’t as easy as simply hopping up onto the pogo stick and jumping off into the sunset. It took some adjusting and getting used to the new contraption. Eventually she understood how to manage her weight and balance and was soon ready for the hopping part.
