He kept his hand on the wall until he felt stable. Then he took a shaky little jump.

Of course, he fell pretty impressively. I think I'm dying, Brandon thought out of habit, despite not being in any pain. As he opened his eyes and picked himself back up, he remembered that the ground was charmed.

This was embarrassing. He'd just be sticking to balancing for now...

Even watching the other students, it looked far too complicated so in a typical Gryffindor fashion... she was going to ignore the proposed strategy and just go for it.

That seemed a good way to do it, yeah?

Leaning against the wall, she held the pogo stick up in front of her - but the next step had a very key difference from what she was supposed to do vs what she did. Jumping straight onto the thing with both feet was a great idea right? Which was exactly what she did, before unsurprisingly she and pogo stick both went forward down towards the ground. It was a good thing the Professor had anticated them being bad at this, so hitting the ground didn't hurt (once she'd rolled herself in the air to not land on the metal 'toy') and she and stick both bounced back up right.

Okay. So... that didn't work.

Brushing herself off, Ve leaned against the wall and lined up the pogo stick again and.... stared at it.

She'd figure it out and try again in a minute. Maybe.
A few did stumble, but his eyes darted directly to the patrons that fell to the floor. No bumps or scapes on them, naturally as they bounced right back up. Call it instinct to immediately want to tend the injured.

Feirgrund observed as a good majority were doing their best even if not managing to excel at the pogo-hopping. "Alright everyone, take a little break." Not literally, of course. "A number of you had made a great comparison to the pogo stick with a regular broomstick among other objects. At best this object could be used as a supplement of exercise equipment should it ever make its way into wizarding use."

Moving on, "Once you're ready, we'll be pogo jumping for real this time. If you're still working on balancing, that's okay, keep on at it here. If you've gotten comfortable enough to hop with the stick, I would like you to attempt hopping around along the corridor but be careful not to bump into others," Should that happen, the chances are the landing would be mostly soft with the charms he implemented on the entire floor.

OOC: Great work everyone! This activity, you will be either continuing to balance with the pogo stick here or pogo hop around the First-Floor Corridor. Should they venture there, you'll only need to post once here hopping away, one arriving in the corridor & leaving before a final post returning to this hallway after. Should be up to three labeled posts maximum for either situation. You'll have at least 72 hours from this post to complete it. Any questions/issues feel free to call for Feirgrund, he'll be within earshot.
