While it was obvious to him Jude was not truly concerned about Davet doing anything with anyone else, off the stage, he still leaned forward to kiss his cheek. "I can promise you I will not be kissing anyone else for as long as we're together." And considering how smitten the french boy was, he was quite hopeful that would be for a long long while. Another chuckle and a nod of his head in agreement. "I'm certain that was it." Maman was the type to find charm in anyone, but the fact Jude was naturally charismatic and made him happy clearly made her attach faster.
He did know Jude wouldn't rush him, but he liked to be honest and upfront about what to be expected from his as well. Davet did well by making the primary part of his personality centered around transparency. Perhaps an odd concept for an actor, but.. it worked for him. Tugging Jude with him at his failure of a first step, he righted them both quickly and gave a small laugh. "Sorry. I told you I'd need a few missteps." But at the next set of instructions, he gave a nod before correcting his posture and trying again - this time taking a much shorter step backwards. "Better?"
