Xander was more than a little okay with the younger siblings being left behind with their Aunt Hady for the afternoon. Sure, he loved the little rugrats but they were bond to only get in the way and today should be all about his sisters and himself. Would like a day to himself but..- that was a whole other story.
So long had he waited for this moment. So, so long and now it was finally here. Whatever was said between his parents of siblings as they all entered the shop went straight over this kids head. The only things Xander was paying any attention to was the amount of wands that were stacked around all over the shop and the line of kids ahead of them. His gaze kept bouncing from left to right, up and down and then behind him to back in front of him. One of those boxes held HIS WAND! Which one though?
It was with one of these many glances around that he actually did catch that look from Phoebe. The slightest grin was given to her before he was right back to checking everything else out around him. The reaction of some of the kids when they first held their wand was kinda funny. That held his attention for a little. At least until it was Phoebe's turn to deal with the measuring tape. Then he focused solely on that and nothing else. Yeah, he was going to be protective even when dealing with tape.
It didn't seem all that bad and before he knew it, the tape was right in front of his face causing him to blink at it. Erm, well alright then. Hello, to you too. Standing as still as he could, which was kinda easy as it didn't take all that long, he let the measuring tape do it's thing. Arm length, his head, finger, an.. eyebrow? Strange but whatever made the tape move alone onto Giselle made him happy.
Was it time to get his wand now?
