Only then did she spot him. The frown dissolved immediately and was replaced with a grin. She rolled her eyes, shook her head then reached out to poke Wiley in the chest.

Boy, it was so hard to keep quiet when his little trick worked and Dynah looked to the right. Wiley wanted to laugh so bad! It was a real exercise in fortitude! But his effort paid off and when she finally turned around and spotted him, the eleven year old erupted in delighted giggles.

"Hi, Dynah!" Wiley greeted the girl with a grin as she poked him in the chest and his laughter finally subsided. "I've interrupted a deep thought, haven't I?" Even he had to admit that his trick only worked because she must have been lost in thought about... well, something. But it worked out in his favor. "What were you looking at anyway?" He looked past her to try to see what had been so interesting to so raptly catch her attention.
