~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. The sound of hurried footsteps had Reagan looking up from the work she had just struck off the list in her book. The footsteps belonged to someone she immediately recognised. Where there was an Isaac, there was bound to be a certain giant. A quick search confirmed this but she hurriedly looked back down at her book before he could notice her. Don’t ask her why, she didn’t know that answer. It was possible that she wasn’t in the mood for another one of their bickering sessions. The day was too perfect for such a thing.
Isaac’s chattering had her sneaking a glance at him, a tiny smile playing on her lips. She found the child to be quite the cutie. Startled at suddenly hearing her name from Christopher, Rea shifted her attention. Imagine the surprise she felt when she realised her smile had increased by a fraction. Since when did HE have that effect on her? “Hi, Christopher,” Rea remarked cautiously. And… she was not annoyed to see him…
Huh?
This was baffling and unusual. |
