Hourglass

Lisa Nam: Watson

Seated near the window in the library, Daniel looked up from his book to check on the hourglass that stood on the side of the desk. The orange-coloured sand had already fallen to the bottom of the glass for the third time that evening. He yawned as he rose up from his chair, closed the notebook in which he had been taking notes and placed it, together with his textbooks and writing material, in his shoulder bag before exiting the library.

"Daniel, wait!" the Hufflepuff turned his head to see Lisa approaching him with V at her side. "What?" he questioned as he halted his steps and waited for them to catch up with him.
Well, V and I had been discussing this and" Lisa said. "We want you to join our study group" V added. Daniel took a moment to consider it before he shrugged his shoulders. "Fine" he said. He did prefer to study alone but with the upcoming OWL exams, it was better to share notes.
