A look of uncertainty crossed his face but it was brief. Had Advika really been waiting for him? And for how long? There was a mixture of emotions that included wonder and fondness. While he wouldn’t mention their earliness now, he certainly would tease her about it in the future; he’d tease her about being eager to see him. Just seeing her right now gave him a good feeling about the ‘date’ they were going to have. Sur was also confident that it would open the door to many more. Aside from that, what he most anticipated was getting to know her.
Sur’s lips twitched the moment it registered the blush but he forced himself not to let himself grin about it as he wasn’t looking to put Advika in a spot. At least he made her giggle with his rambling. Maybe he should ramble more often. He’d do anything to hear that sweet giggle again! “It’s the truth. And thank you!” Suresh was quite tempted to hold out his arm for her to take but thought the better of it. There was no use making Advika uncomfortable. “Yes, after you.” The young man easily fell into step beside her. “So… are there any particular exhibits you really want to look at today, Advika?” He really was trying not to stare at her but it was so difficult! |
