Naturally, Kalie had avoided any and all planning of the dance, wanting to be surprised by the whole thing. But one couldn't guess it by the way she was dressed. Though, they might've if they'd heard the low whistle the Hufflepuff firstie had let out upon entering the space.

She had headed right towards the dance floor since they were playing her jam. She moved to the beat, not caring who was staring or about the fact that she had no partner. Because that was the only way these things were fun: not caring about the small things.

Let it be known that Alfred Ludovic Devereaux wasn't really one for dances. However, they did present a prime opportunity for both chaos and attention, both of which he liked very much. So, here he was ~~skulking~~ wondering around the perimeter of the dance floor watching for the perfect moment to ~~use the Peruvian Instant Darkness Powder in his pocket~~ strike. Looking completely natural and innocent though. Nope, absolutely nothing to see here, folks. Move along.
