Keigh, Ash, V, Stewie! <3 ~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. Keigh knew that she could always ask him to be her date whenever she wanted to. He would never mind, and even though he had his own date to this event, he would ensure that he squeezed a dance or two in with her. There was no rule that stipulated that one had to spend the entire evening with their date, right? Jude knew that Evan would understand. He and Evan always understood each other. “I agree! I mean…” He gestured around in general with his free hand, still in awe. The older Hufflepuff could not help but chuckle at the question. Actually, he wanted to know himself. “Want us to be statues and find out?” This big brother would always indulge his little sister!
Keigh chose that dress? Okay, someone remind him why was his baby sister growing up so quickly??? Because she certainly had chosen a dress that suited her. She looked so elegant! All the guys and girls had been keep their petty paws off of her! SUPER protective brother here! “You have impeccable taste, Keigh. Have I ever mentioned that I’m proud of the young woman you’re growing into? Because I am.’’ His usual war smile graced his face once again. “Thank you! Oh, is it? Then I’ll keep this in mind!’’
Jude felt bad because Ashley seemed somewhat frightened or at least startled. He studied her for a bit, deciding that whatever was bothering her then maybe she didn’t want to talk about it. He couldn’t blame her: they didn’t know each other that well though he had spoken to her many times during lessons. “Um… if you’re sure. If you’d like to hang out with Keigh and I for a bit, that’s fine.” Jude hated seeing anyone sad and would try to make them feel a little better. “Keigh and I are wondering if any fairy would land on us if we stayed still long enough. You can test that theory with us,’’ he added, smiling. Hearing the sniffle, the fifth year pulled out the handkerchief from his jacket pocket. “Here.’’ The soft, silk material was held out to her. “Thanks! Well, now that two beautiful ladies have confirmed that purple looks good on me, I have no doubts now.’’ Someone else Jude thought looked lovely? Victoria! “Hi, Victoria!’’ he greeted her enthusiastically. “You look wonderful, by the way!” Her dress was something magical. Stuart was looking good too in his opinion. Maybe everyone was! “Hi, Stuart!’’ There was a grin for the Ravenclaw. |
