No matter the circumstance, Missa wouldn't have missed this event. For once though - it had a lot less to do with being a diligent Junior Auror and more to do with the reality that whatever had happened had happened, and now all she could do was move on. Not to mention, she felt absolutely tired of all the pity her family was constantly showing her these days.

Two weeks away from work had been more than enough. Her health was a lot better too, something she was very keen on making sure everyone knew - because no way did she want anyone to witness any weakness on her part.

Dressed in her best, and black, the former ravenclaw entered the gala with Eiji. Although the submarine ride there, like most days past the incident, had been quiet - the sudden grand visual in front of them triggered a facade of sorts for her and she smiled at him, "don't you think this is the most interesting Ministry event there has been so far?"

"I mean - I don't think you will regret being here tonight"

Eros was absolutely delighted. When he had first heard about the underwater gala, he had not assumed it would be so easy to slip his way in. Although Joana had not been easy to convince --- but once he fixated on something, it was rare of him to just let go.

Determined to not let a moment go to waste, he was effortlessly making conversation with whoever came his way. Sure, he had to make sure Joana didn't revoke her plus one privileges if he went too far - but he was still somehow able to soak in a lot of information -- or at least enough to make his editor happy.

Stepping inside the gala, Eros slipped a hand inside a pocket of his as he followed Joana. "Sure, if anyone wants to drive their audience away - I mean, the audience not underwater" he responded, his tone light as he looked around to figure out who was who around there.

"But maybe one day --- merpop might end up being the reason we come together as a family" His tone was still light, though hinting unconsciously at a conspiracy theory he had heard regarding the relations between the two communities. BUT - he was going to keep that to himself, since he was sure Joana would not approve.
