You know what Sadie Kareless needed today? Socks. Yes, socks and there was absolutely no other purpose for her stepping into Gladrags on this fine Hogsmeade weekend. Not a single other worthwhile reason at all.

And, just so anyone observing was aware of, the socks just so happened to be near the dress robes. Just over there against the wall and at a diagonal to a really lovely set of nude and pale pink robes that just may have caught the seventh year's attention. But she was not here to dwell on those luxuries. She was here for socks. Perhaps a pair of leggings as well seeing as she had ripped her previous pair while climbing a tree on the grounds and another set had been scuffed up even beyond magical repair due to her efforts in the greenhouses while on her knees.

Socks. Leggings. Tights.

That was all she was here for and her lingering gaze on a particular set of frocks was simply a matter of her zoning out and just to happening to have her gaze cast in that direction.
