~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. “Stupefy!’’ Aria, still very much happy, stunned the Bouncing Bulb. Now that there wasn’t a chance that it would cause any trouble since it was knocked out cold, the skin was removed. Once done, it was cut into very small pieces. Next came the weighing. One hundred grams of bouncing bulb was weighed out then added to the cauldron. Was there a specific time they needed to stir? Aria shrugged. She didn’t really care, it would be fun if something went wrong due to too much or too little stirring.
Once the pieces of bulb were mixed in properly, the waiting began. Aria began a carving of a dove on her pumpkin. There was no real meaning to this; a dove was just randomly chosen. The timer had been set so that she didn’t lose track of time. A good thing too because her attention had zoned in so well to the carving that she hadn’t realised the half an hour was up until the timer went off.
Aria abandoned the pumpkin for now to pluck away at the foxgloves petals and dropped them onto the scale until four grams were gathered. The mortar and pestle were cleaned again, the petals were crushed just a bit. With the juices flowing, the petals were then chopped. Into the cauldron they went before Aria quickly washed her hands before stirring, stirring and stirring.
Dark purple! FINALLY!
Looking at the last set of instructions, Aria knew that she had to keep her head on right. This part could easily be messed up.
