"I suppose." Alfie decided to follow his namesake's glance towards the pit. He should not have done that. His face turned slightly green and he immediately looked away. Grateful that the subject was being changed, his face turned back to its normal shade and his eyes were kept well away from the pit. "Yes, I have a tabby cat. Well, technically, it's my uncle's, but he always says it's both of ours." Cats were his favourite animal. Much better than slugs.
