The Aviary happened to be one of those places Aria always went to to be by herself - minus the birds for company. She always found them to be relaxing regardless if she had human company with her or not. Today? Ms. McLeod was by herself. She wanted to and needed to. Why? Aria sat at one of the tables with a foot tucked under her as she carefully thumbed through a Muggle fashion magazine. Half a dozen others were there before her waiting to be picked up and perused. Muggles should be applauded for their usually creative tastes and ideas in clothing and jewelry. With her free hand, she toyed with the butterfly pendant from her thin gold chain resting against the base of her throat.
She was lost in thought and completely focused on a particular blouse modeled by a rather skinny woman. “Hmm. Not a bad design…” Aria particularly liked the tiny beads on the sleeves. She could see herself wearing that; she could also visualise women and young girls with any amount of size greater than the model in the magazine wearing it. |
