Here she was, holding onto the last of the almost summer-like weather. Pretty soon she wouldn't be able to wear her skirts or dresses - at least not without multiple layers and warm socks. Soon the days of reading in the sun would be gone. Though if Maya were being honest, she was looking forward to sitting by a fireplace and reading her books. In the book she had been reading, it seemed as though winter season was the best for snuggling up to someone and hiding from the cold.
Teen romance things that didn't interest the Slytherin before had started to. And she supposed she could blame it on the books or on her slight crush on her friend.
As she strolled through the grounds, she found herself at the lake. Would she see the squid like she had the term before? It wouldn't hurt to take a break from her walk before heading back inside to work on her assignments. So, Maya took a seat in the sun by the lake, enjoying the way the warm rays felt.
