Cuts opened across his face as a hundred sets of claws and fangs flew past.

Nearly blinded by bats, and deafened by thunder, Damian stood his ground. The rain stabbed his wounds like a thousand tiny needles, while the wind howled and tried to push him back. "LUMOS-"
His teeth threatened to chatter, and his hands threatened to shake, but he held steady. "-SOLARIS!"
A ray of pure sunlight cut through the darkness. Damian grasped his wand with both hands while the angry finger of Sol stabbed the ceiling. And then with all his strength he pulled the beam down toward where the veiled assault was coming from.
