Though she wanted to look at the other sections of the Restricted Section, Ivy did stick to the Herbology one for now. There was much less of a chance she'd be given permission to enter at a later date if she were seen ignoring the professors' instructions now. And she did happen upon a few interesting books in this section anyway, even if none of them had quite the answers they were looking for.

That loud thud and then all the voices that followed indicated the rest of the group was having more luck. The Ravenclaw walked back over to rejoin the group, listening to her classmates' comments, but also wanting to see the actual text herself. There were several people crowding around Daniel already, so rather than try to cram herself among them to look over his shoulder too, she summoned a step stool at her feet. Stepping onto it, she was able to peer over, and her eyes quickly scanned over the paragraphs.

"Magic-dissolving." That detail about the fog caught her eye. It seemed significant...especially since Violet had said the fog was getting past Professor Flamsteed's charmed barriers.... "So we'll need non-magical fire to use on it, yeah?" So probably no Incendio then, if the poisonous fog kept the area unaffected by magic spells?
