Violet wasn't much of a spontaneous dancer, and after trying to move vaguely around in a somewhat rhythmic fashion for a while, she had ended up just standing still in the rain, her arms raised out to either side and hands up, letting the drops cascade into her open palms. She tilted her head back slightly, closed her mouth and eyes, and just let the water wash over her, trying to ignore the ominous roll of thunder all around her.

She was startled out of her reverie by another loud boom of thunder, and her eyes shot open as she tried to peer into the distance through the rain (at least she hadn't embarrassed herself by crying out again). "That looked like it hit the ground," she said almost to herself. "Wouldn't it be great if the lightning hit those stupid vines and burned them up?" Oops--had she said that aloud? She really needed to get herself together and start acting like a Slytherin again.
