Even stranger that she had actually named the spell they’d be using. Oh. That explained Carton’s look earlier. Still, the fact that she’d hit the nail on the head made her beam. All of her irritation at Daniel had evaporated there and then.
“Focalia. Focalia. Focalia,’’ the seventh year muttered under her breath, still feeling good about having spoken up of the spell. The incantation seemed to roll right off of her tongue and after making some X-like movements, prepared to get to the actual thing.
