Once the vines had managed to ensnare him, Evan had a difficult time remembering where his and Dahlia's conversation had been going or what they'd been discussing. He was more concerned with wracking his brain trying to figure out how to get OUT of the vine. Not to be rude or because he didn't care, but even without being in any immediate danger - close proximity to another person like this was NOT his thing and he'd very much like to have gotten out of it immediately. "Any chance you remember any spells, Lia?"
