Many strange things had been happening at the Ministry lately, and this was no time to dawdle to think about that rule.

Wand raised, Jessica stared in shock at the rising and growing gravity resistant tree. "HEY ANYONE IN HERE -- " she poked her head out the greenhouse door. "WE HAVE A SITUATION IN HERE!" she yelled as loudly as she could. She sent a quick immobulus at the tree to try to get it to STOP moving and whatnot, to stop the damage it was already doing. Her forte was most certainly NOT plants, and her brain tickled at the thought of just who WAS an expert at plants in his own way.

SPOILER!!: Fin

Surrounded by the plants and in the middle of the greenhouse, it took Forrest a moment to actually become aware of what exactly what was happening around him but when he did, he couldn’t help but stop and freeze in wonder. It was BEAUTIFUL! Mouth open, the old man stood and watched as the plant grew before his wide eyes, only moving when the glass over his head shattered.

With his wand in his hand in an instant, Forrest raised it, casting the shield charm causing the glass to bounce harmlessly around him, his eyes moving to the plants to make sure none of them were damaged.

“I’M OVER HERE!” Forrest called now as he turned towards the voices coming from the entrance of the greenhouses. “BUT PLEASE…BE CAREFUL! THE TREE IS STI…” He was about to say growing except it had just been hit by an immobulus spell. Had it worked? He wasn’t sure but then again, he wasn’t even sure he wanted it to. This tree was his baby. He’d planted it and now, despite it being too big for the greenhouse, it would have been a tragedy for something to happen to it. “JESSICA, FIN…WE NEED TO FIND A WAY TO STOP IT GOING OR IT’S GOING TO BRING THE WHOLE FLOOR DOWN. BUT PLEASE, TRY NOT TO HURT IT OR THE PLANTS IN HERE.”

Taking a deep breath, he surveyed the room for a moment trying to assess what to do next. The walls. The greenhouse. The gravity-resistant tree. “Someone needs to make sure none of the creatures escape or we’ll be in serious trouble,” he said to the pair of them quickly, unsure exactly what skills they had that could help. Working here, he knew they must have been competent witches and wizards but he wasn’t about to send them knee deep into some of the plants in here without any help. “I’m going to see if I can stop this tree from doing anymore damage to the walls.”
