Fortunately, the swarm of bees around her head flew off just as quickly as they had come. In fact, they seemed to have followed the bee Violet had been watching, which had now flown off toward some herbs growing beyond the shrubberies.
Relieved to hear the teacher calling them back, though, Violet headed back to her mat. "I followed and watched a bumblebee," she said when it was her turn. "It seemed to be almost doing a strange kind of dance over there in the shrubberies. Then a swarm of bees flew over from somewhere behind me and wound up following it off. So I'm thinking, that dance was meant as a message for the other bees, not for me." Which was fine with Violet--she preferred a rational explanation for things.
