Ash was very comfortable with flying. It felt natural to her, and the fact that she had enough money to replace her expensive broom sure didn’t hurt. She had no business owning a broom like that, really. She wasn’t a quidditch player. But she didn’t trust the school brooms much, and... honestly her broom was a bit of a status symbol. And it had to do with being a muggleborn and having her broom exploded... she didn’t really wanna explain it. She was comfortable flying, that was the point.
