Once the vials were launched and the spells were cast, Raini turned a keen, observational eye towards the tapestries. Though it was good practice for his line of work, it was also in his nature to carefully observe and take mental notes and make adjustments in his approach. He was eager to see what these spells would do or what effect any of their efforts might have.
But these results were rather unexpected, even if they were quite curious. Raini watched a moment as one of the tapestries began hitting Pendragon around the head. "Curious, indeed," he murmured to himself as the tapestry continued to show sentience, real or simulated. He wasn't sure how effective engaging in a fistfight with the drapery would be, but it looked like the man had things under control on his end. For now at least. Because his attention was soon drawn to something that seemed just a little more urgent.

The ancient relic. Raini carefully picked up the pin, then gingerly attached it to the constricting tapestry. "Is anyone skilled in runic magic?" Perhaps the combination of this relic and rune incantations would be the key to breaking this dark magic. But if not, he had one more idea.
