Kayne smiled and laughed at Ash's comment about the stuffed animal that he had thrown. Some people just didn't have as quick of a reaction time as himself apparently, but that was fine. It's not like it was a hard object that could have caused harm, or even worse...accidentally breaking something. Now that would have most likely landed him in detention.
Once again, Kayne found himself smirking as the Professor's question gave himself another opportunity to riff off of the incident that had just previously occurred. Also, he was grateful for Schmoe giving the lost points back. He nodded as a gesture of thanks, and with a hand raised, the boy stated "Well I think a prime example of that is what I tried to do." A sly smile starting to cross Kayne's face. He continued by adding "Us wizards and witches can easily attempt to find a lost object or grab one that's far away via the use of the summoning. Whereas muggles would have to go find the objects themselves, just like how we did a second ago." Even though Kayne had somewhat of an obsession with himself, the boy still wasn't afraid to joke about mistakes that he made to make light of the situations.
