The premise of all this was bizarre for a structured, classroom kind of class - shoes off was more like a yoga, pilates vibe, fit for a gym class. Looking down at his own bare feet at the professor's proposed question, there were a few obvious answers regarding basic forms of movement at the tip of his tongue, but he elected to leave those to the younger students. "For balance," he offered with a raised hand. "To keep ourselves upright and not topple over. Helps keep us grounded." Without feet, they'd have to balance on what would be peg-like appendages, which was probably a lot harder, he figured. |
