 Heath and Claudine Which came first, the phoenix or the flame?
When Ash was underwater, it was like everything was okay. The noise from other people cut out, replaced by water sounds. It was impossible to focus on anything but moving through the water. She could just be alone, in the darkness and the quietness. Well, alone except for Heath and Claudine. Obviously. She swam vertical circles around them, like a dolphin. Wasn't this just amazing? Ash thought it was. Ash followed them deeper into the lake, more interested in exploring that finding a prize. Especially if there were creepy crawlies near the prize. Ash didn't see any yet though. |
