And maybe she could use something from one of them for her audition.

Which one she wanted to pick though...she wasn't sure.

And, as she flipped to the next page, it was beginning to feel a bit chilly again, which probably meant her warming charm was fading already. But she didn't want to go back inside yet. So she pulled out her wand and gave it a quick wave as she mumbled the incantation.

Ahh, much better.

And now to continue reading.
As much as she hated to admit it...running every day was getting...old. So today, she was skipping. None of that high vertical skipping, either, she was speed-skipping, putting most of her energy into pushing herself forward, rather than upward. Mamie might not be very good at most of her subjects, but she had a working knowledge of physics, especially gravity and energy. You could go faster if you weren't also trying to go up.

She spotted someone on a bench while still far away, and peered curiously at them until she got closer. Oh! It was Ivy! Misa's friend. Margaret stopped skipping and grinned at the older girl, waiting for her to look up from her book to greet her.

She didn't want to interrupt...whatever she was reading. Mamie was polite.
