~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. Claudine did know that practice helped a great deal. It was just difficult to remember when she was busy failing at the spell work. But Carton’s words of encouragement were welcomed. They had helped her a great deal. Perhaps that was why after a few more tries, she was successfully able to have two additional reasonable looking pumpkins. One was slightly lopsided but whatever.
Now to get started on the final steps.
The Snakette opted to use magic for her carvings, a decision she regretted on her very first pumpkin as said pumpkin looked rather sad that scary. Its mouth sort of drooped at the ends. Needless to say Claudine was disappointed. Call it being stubborn or benign resilient, she decided to carry on using magic. The second pumpkin actually fared better but it was the third that was the most scary. Practice did make perfect.
The three were lined up neatly on her desk before she used her wand to tap once on each. Look at the pumpkins light up! |
