The pumpkin that Claudine envisioned for her glittery skull was supposed to be bright orange, slightly wider and taller than the skull and with no stem. But like it was mentioned before, she sucked at conjuration so absolutely nothing happened. On the plus side, Carton had noticed her wand work. “Thanks, Professor,’’ Claudine responded with half a smile. “I think you’d notice by now but Conjuration spells are the most difficult for me.” Still… this girl wasn’t about to give up.
Keeping the same image of the pumpkin in mind, Claudine tried once more. “Melofors!” Carefully, the wand movement was traced out again and something was happening. Look at the pumpkin! Claudine struggled not to let her concentration slip in her happiness. And it didn’t for there was a perfect pumpkin encasing the glittery skull. Success! |
