Quinn... may have still been decorating while the professor was talking. But he still knew what was going on! He was good at listening! All in all, after he was done he had a cat (very similar to his own costume), a T-rex (perhaps inspired by some rowdy twins) and a doggie (because why not?) by folding the paper and sticking it to the skulls.

Quinn practiced the wand movement—one of the most complex he'd learned so far, actually, which was weird given that it was such a novelty spell. He was a bit confused about the transition from big stroke to small, but he got it down after a moment. He pointed his want at the kitty skull, envisioning a white, squat pumpkin. He did the wand movement, reciting "Melofors!" A white pumpkin popped up around the skull, similar to the one he envisioned, but it was all mushy like it was overripe and sunk into itself. Quinn grimaced.
