Halloween was one of Kinsay's favorite days out of the entire year—but not for the reason that most people would assume. So it was with an extra bounce in her step that the littlest James made her way into the transfiguration classroom. Even if she didn't feel like being chipper sometimes, she made a big effort to be. It was especially important today, so she was making an extra effort to smile big, even though it looked a little out of place with her costume of choice.

Upon entering the room, she was a tiiiiiny bit disappointed to see that no one else had really made a big effort with their costumes. It made her feel all sorts of silly for going all out with hers. She gave her little pigtails a tug. Um.

..... Trying to push THOSE thoughts away, she made her way towards their professor. What was he supposed to be? She couldn't tell in the slightest. Maybe a pirate? Or .... some ancient opera singer? .... A prehistoric waiter? Kinsay felt it was best to pretend like she understood it completely, just so she didn't accidentally hurt his feelings. "Hi, Professor," she bounced in place eagerly, before lowering her voice to a whisper."It's Phoebe and Teddy's birthday today. Can we sing happy birthday when they get here?" It'd make them so happy, she was sure of it.
