Anyway, back to the lesson at hand. The little redhead nodded in agreement with Lisa's statement and wrote it down. "Muggles are incompetent because of the lack of magic," she said, repeating what she heard once from her great grandmum Morgana. The older woman didn't appreciate muggles one bit, and Serena has heard all the muggle-shamming from her. Only when her parents weren't there. Her parents would forbid Serena visits from her grandmum if they knew.
Lisa scrunched her nose up at the comment Serena made. It was a pure, genuine, unfiltered reaction to what she said. She knew that her friend didn’t actually mean that buuuuut.... she didn’t know that. It had never come up before... well now. She hoped she didn’t think that way.
“
Good one,” she nodded. She wrote that one down and continued to wrack her brain for more answers but it was proving to be difficult as she thought of roasting marshmallows and combining it with delicious chocolate and crackers. The perfect marshmallow was toasty golden and crisp on the outside that was deliciously gooey and marshmallowey deliciousness on the inside. Omg... YUM.
“
Muggles can be heretical cause they don’t understand magic. They can’t comprehend it and thus they can cause harm... a la the Salem Witch Trials,” she suggested, adding that to the list.
