Lia grabbed her book off the floor at the same time she took hold of Evan's hand. "Yeah, yeah, I'm okay. I was kinda reading something myself..." she admitted softly getting to her feet and letting go of his hand.
Pushing some of her hair off face, she shifted her weight from one foot to the other. "Why are you just standing here in the corridor anyhow?" Lia glanced up and down the corridor for anything interesting she may have missed.
Err.... he wasn't quite sure why she was just staring at his outstretched hand. But eventually she did take it so he pulled her up, before releasing her hand and leaning over to grab his own book now on the ground.
"I'm glad you weren't hurt." He glanced over at the book in her hand nodded towards it,
"What are you reading currently?"
Hearing her question, he nodded towards the Statute of Gregory the Smarmy.
"I've been reading about this fellow and his potion. I decided to go for a walk and come see the statute. Have you heard the rumors there's a secret passage behind this too?"
Not that he would know how to access it. Or probably use it even if he did.
