Kit was a bit frazzled this morning.
He had been on the job for several months now, but he was still having a hard time getting ready in time. This morning was no exception—he had already put on a lavender button down and bright yellow slacks that did not go together, but his lateness was made even worse by the fact that he needed to refill his hard candy drawer. Yes, Kitty had a drawer full of hard candies in his desk because it was necessary even though he wasn't at it all that much... but he still managed to eat a whole drawer's worth. See? Necessary. So he obviously filled up a bag with butterscotch, strawberry and other assorted flavors of individually wrapped candies to bring to the Ministry and refill his desk drawer this morning. Kitty may have been rushing out of the fireplace a bit too fast so he could clock in on time and tripped over his own feet, letting out a small yelp. Accidents happen, right? Except this accident included a large and heavy bag of individually wrapped hard candies going flying into the air. If it didn't hit someone and knock them clean out, it would certainly land on the floor and scatter candy everywhere. Sorry, maintenance.... this wouldn't be pretty. |
